Dear Angela,Now that my two friends and I have moved on from pitch M47, I wanted to say a massive thank you for our stay. Although I have camped for many years, my friends are relative novices and loved every minute of our stay with you and your team.Firstly, I want to mention the size of the pitches. These were perfect for our needs with plenty of room for my VW campervan, a two-man tent and a storage tent. Although we chose M47, any of the options given to us on arrival would have been fine, but what we liked about our pitch, was the sense of privacy we had, with the pitch backing up to the lodges.Secondly, the cleanliness of the toilet block was amazing. We used the main block on the way to the beach, and the lady who cleaned this block did an amazing job, working from early in the morning until she was finished. Not only were they clean, but there was so much on offer there with plenty of toilets and showers (hot and cold) available that there was never a wait. I even managed to borrow a book from the library, which I will return next time I visit.Thirdly, your location between Porto Vecchio and some amazing beaches to the north was perfect for us. We spent three days lazing on pristine beaches during the day and then visiting the port of Porto Vecchio to dream about the boats on display there (and have a cheeky beer). Additionally, the proximity to a lovely supermarket, pizza restaurant and chicken grill house (Rotissere Chez Francky) meant that we didn’t lack options for a meal when we returned if we needed. Your own waterfront cafe allowed us to have a refreshing ice-cream whilst watching some of your regular clients having a game of boules/Pétanque.Finally, a massive thank you to you and team for our stay with you.Kind regards,
We spent 7 days in the mobile house. The camping is like a botanical garden. We had a very nice time.
Spent 7 nights here, the reception staff were really polite and professional but also super helpful when I had bike problems to resolve. The restaurant staff and food were great, we particularly enjoyed the very relaxed and enjoyable 80's evening. The campsite has a lovely beach with a safe swimming area and the opportunity to hire boats etc.The only reason that I haven't given 5 stars is because the sanitary facilities could be cleaner and in better condition (a few chipped sinks and cool/cold showers) and there are a few old and tired caravans that have been there for many years and make the site look a bit tired and scruffy. We had one either side of our camper initially but one was removed during our stay and I believe that the management are changing the rules and upgrading the site.Anyway I would definatley recommend this site, the restaurant, the staff and the beach!Thank you!
Nice camping, good facilities (toilets, drinking water, hot and cold showers), ending with the beach. Some seaweed on the beach because it's in the corner of the bay. We used kayak to access the beach on the other side which was just perfect. Ideal place for such setup.
Well priced camping with access to their own beach. Good washing facilities (hot and cold showers, washing up areas, good clothes washing facilities etc) and a good restaurant. Although reservations are not needed for the campsite, they are for the restaurant that starts serving food at 7pm
