CAMPING SAN DAMIANO

Nice campsite close to the port of Bastia, over looking a nice sandy beach.Nice bar to watch the sun go down.Only reason for four stars was that there was no toilet roll supplied, which I would expect for a 4* campsite.Facilities were acceptable and clean.

Beautiful Campground next to the Beach, very good facilities, modern check in /out. Very good supermarket attached to the campground. Very Happy about our stay there.

We stayed at the camping for one night because it's one of the closest to Bastia port. Reception and check-in is like ordering fries at Mcdonalds, it's supposed to be modern. We chose a place at the self check in, but it was already taken by a family in a campervan, so we had to go back to the reception. Early in the morning the gate was closed and there was no button or something to call for help so we opened the gate manually. After that someone came shouting that we shouldn't do that and that for early checkouts we should stay at a special part of the campsite. How should we know that if there was just a huge touchscreen to talk to at the reception. I don't go camping to click on screens and all the other stressful stuff. I'm there for good vibes, easy going people and non stressful check-in and check-out. My least favorite camping so far!

I'm not a fan of capitalist campings.This place has swimming pool, and dances/games activities.It has not a barbecue area, and the not enough shadow in the pitches.Still the location is amazing and services are clean, confortble.

Attention, this campsite asks for a deposit of 300 euros even for just one night. I stayed on the 15th of July and as of today the 1st of August the 300 euro deposit on my credit card has not yet been refunded.I consider this unacceptable behavior.I advise everyone to pay the deposit in cash and get it back the same day you leave.
