CAMPING D'OLZO

After spending a week on different campings in Corsica we ended up here for the last two nights. Without a doubt the most clean camping if them all! Toilets, showers and washing tables all build decently and kept very clean by the staff. Showers with different temperature settings and separated for men and women. In general just perfect.The campings grounds are divided in different lots but without hard barriers, meaning everybody ends up close to each other but still has its own clearly defined space. This obviously means you will get some more interaction and noise from you neighbours. However, for us, it just created a very cosy and familial vibe. The grounds are kept tidy and staff is even collecting the leaves on the ground.Pool is kept clean and is large enough for a couple of families to enjoy without getting in each other's way. Perfect for that hot Corsican weather.Small shop available and bread in the morning if you order the evening before.Overall just a very good, clean and professionally run camping veru well situated near both Bastia and Saint Florent. Definitely worth a visit.Heads-up to bring enough cash as electronic payment is not possible.

Bad experience! Owner only permitted our stay if we would leave our identification card during our stay as a guarantee that we would pay after our two days stay. (Keeping an ID is not even allowed). When we said we could pay in forehand (directly), he replied: “no that is not in line with our procedure, we do payments between 08:00 and 12:00”.Fine don’t take our money, the camping was almost completely empty and that doesn’t surprised us with such service mentality.

After walking around without finding a proper spot for our tents and telling the owner we wanted to look further for a different campsite he made us pay the visitors fee of 10,00. What a disgrace in terms of service. We only waited for an hour and ate our sandwich in the meanwhile because his reception was closed during lunchtime and they already took my passport. Happy to have left these people..

At the start i've found a bad service about info. (a reception guy during a wind alert told me to ask the sky in order to have some info) I do believe that first appearance it doesn't represent the truth that's why i tried to talk to other members of the staff wich are super nice especially Edi. The Camp Is efficient especially for the costs. If you're looking for a great privacy it's not the best but you'll find your space for sure. It Is cheap but you won't find It poor at all, you'll be surprised instead. At the end of the day Is good experience if you're looking for a good price for a good service. A bad Apple doesn't make the whole tree.
