CAMP AU CLAIR RUISSEAU

Me and my family stayed here for 4 days with a caravan and we really enjoyed our vacations. The landscape is fantastic, in the campsite there's a lake were you can swim. It's fantastic to be surrounded by nature, you can enjoy about all the animals that live here, like ducks, gooses and otters.The only thing that could be improved are the toilets, that are a little bit old. Although this they are always clean.I really recommend this campsite, it is so peaceful and relaxing.

Great campground for our family. Our two kids (8 and 10) loved the space, meeting up with other kids and play all day long, ball, lake, catch, games,… the campground and spots are spacious enough not to feel crowded and most spots are nicely shaded by old trees. Facilities are old but clean and staff was super friendly. We will come back.

It offers all it can offer in this location for the price you pay, therefore fair 5 stars from me. We had good experience with staff and camp site. Everything was working as it should, clean, etc...We also managed to book place for a tent on short notice, which is not the case for the campsites close to Strasburg in peak season.If you're looking for more, e.g. shops, fancy restaurants, great cycling location, vibrant atmosphere - then you'll have to drive.

Owner was rude and unfriendly fromthe outset. This site is not suitable for cycle tourers as there are no tables and chairs and it is 4km from canal cycle path. There were spare chairs but although we were literally the only customers on site she said they were private and we couldn't have them. Astonishing! Washing facilities were clean and pitches shady from trees which was nice.

Lovely, peaceful campsite within walking distance of Gerstheim and perfect to explore the local area. Our stay was made exceptional by the owner of the campsite who was so pleasant and helpful. All the facilities were very clean and were cleaned several times a day. I would definitely go back there.
