Perfect for cyclists. I arrived around 5 pm and was told that there is always a place available for cyclists. There is no separate field for tents, so you have a regular pitch that you may share with another cyclist if the camping is busier. Large supermarket at 500 meter. Sanitary is clean. Washing machine and dryer available. Fairly priced!
Pitches are big and flat, clearly marked.Facilities were clean and you get free access to the swimming pool over the road.Staff were lovely and spoke good English. You can order breakfast croissants and bread from reception. The town is very pretty and easily accessible.Good base for seeing Strasbourg. And we loved seeing the storks in and around the town.
Lovely campsite and friendly staff. The facilities were clean and well maintained, and the size of the pitches is very generous.Unfortunately we didn't have a chance to visit the town as we needed to continue our journey the next morning, but the campsite is ideally located to do that or jump on a train to Strasbourg. We can thoroughly recommend this campsite, and hope to visit again soon!
Very nice camping. We were there with bikes and a tent, had a very good time. Lots of shade, good facilities, friendly personnel. Bathroom and other facilities are spacious and well maintained. Unlimited hot water everywhere, wifi was also ok. Fees are reasonable and include the pass to the neighboring swimming pool. Lots of bike paths in the area and also plenty of things to do and see.
We stayed at this campsite for two weeks with our family. We had a very pleasant stay and are fairly positive about the camping.Things we liked:- Value for money is good when compared to other campsites.- Location on walking distance of the city centre of Molsheim. Also the location is very quiet and not a lot of traffic is passing by.- Proximity of a reasonable sized super marked on walking distance of the camping.- Friendly staff. They came and warned all guests about an upcoming heavy thunderstorm with hail.- Activities organised on the campsite like a food truck or small marked with local products- Because this campsite exists already a long time, lots of large threes give plenty of shadow. That's a very nice thing during summers in France.Things we didn't like too much or could be improved:- The toilet paper and paper hand towels were very often empty or non functional. The used system by Tork is very sensitive when the paper 'breaks' at the wrong location the leftover paper remains inside and cannot be accessed. This situation could take a full day before resolved by the staff!- The toilets were not cleaned enough during peak season in our opinion. Especially during the weekends..- The church bells caused quite some annoyance. They started at 6 in the morning and rung a couple of times a day. Not so nice when you want to sleep a bit longer during your holiday- Most guest only stay for 1 or 2 nights so our kids did not have a lot of interaction with other kids. Thats a bit of a disappointment for them- The access system for the swimming pool (piscine municipal) is not very handy with only 1 access card per group and not 1 card per person. When only a portion of your group wants to go to the pool, the rest cannot access the pool without card. All in all a nice camping with some small items that can be improved.
