CAMPING LES AMIS DE LA NATURE

Campground in the village of Luttenbach near Munster, Alsace, France (not to be confounded with the city of Münster in Germany!). Quite a large camping, for 2/3 of the area is occupied by (rather old) permanent vans and huts.Limited facilities (no washing machines, opening hours of restaurant are very unpredictable, no bread in the morning).Great surroundings, lovely nature trails, lots of history (e.g. WWI), many places to eat and drink outside villages and towns. Do reserve, they're always fully booked.

Large, but walkable. Shady spots are available so take your time selecting.Sanitair is a bit dated but clean and there are five blocks, so always one close by. Toilet paper provided but no hand soap at every block.Great restaurant but make reservations! Really good food and wines.Unsupervised swimming pool is small, so great for a cool down in a hot day but don't expect to be able to really swim. Accompany your kids as the suction in the pool is strong.Great hikes from the camping site, and bike path to Munster (5 minute ride) or to the start/end of the valley is just outside the camp ground.

Spend my Vacations here last year. For me it was a very nice campsite to calm down and relax. Also my dogs had a lot of fun there and they were welcome. The hills are very nice for hiking. I will come back.

Very nice camping site! Large pitches with many trees around, swimming pool, lot of sanitaries strategically situated, all clean and well kept. There is also a bar with very friendly staff. See you soon.

Nicely located in a large green surrounding. Well maintained equipment. All necessary things available. Even pool and restaurant (check opening hours and days). Good for hiking and biking base camp. Nice and flexible staff.
