Latest reviews for CAMPING DE VILLEY LE SEC
Lovely location next to river. Receptionist speaks 4 languages so I didn’t have to try use my weak French skills.Large private pitches and very clean sanitary block. Very organised for breakfasts and they have a restaurant there as well. Nice ride into Toul which is mostly on the road but we noticed a bike path that goes to Nancy. Also I noticed they had a sign up for massages 3 times a week which is a great idea
Our favourite campsite of our 3 week trip.Everything felt spacious, quiet and clean.Probably 70% full when we were there in May, but so calm.Really excellent wash blocks with very hot push button showers. Individual cubicles with wash basins.Really liked the on site restaurant which was quite busy but again very calm.Great walks and cycles along the Moselle. There is an airbase near by so you do get a daily fly past of planes (Typhoons?) but not a problem.Didn’t get in to Villey-le-Sec itself - it’s quite a way and up hill!We would certainly stop here again.
What a find. Right next to the river with some great walks. Lots of people here but when we went minimal children so quiet. Mind you, Rust to Rome (see website) arrived on our last day 42 cars heading for Rome but they were quiet and respectful.
Camping de Villey-le-Sec is a true gem among campsites, ideal for those seeking peace and closeness to nature. Located right by the river, it offers picturesque views and fishing opportunities, making it a paradise for anglers. This intimate spot is quiet and serene, away from the hustle and bustle of the city, perfect for relaxation and unwinding. One of the biggest advantages of this campsite is its cleanliness and tidiness. Every corner is meticulously maintained, making your stay exceptionally comfortable. The surrounding nature adds charm, and the fresh air and greenery encourage long walks and outdoor activities. The staff at the campsite are extremely friendly and helpful. Every time I've been there, I've encountered polite and professional service. The personnel are always ready to assist and provide information, enhancing the overall experience. However, due to the popularity of this place, it is advisable to book in advance. Camping de Villey-le-Sec is often busy, especially during the summer season, so an early reservation will ensure a stress-free stay.In summary, Camping de Villey-le-Sec is an excellent spot for anyone looking for closeness to nature, peace, and quiet. The cleanliness, beautiful surroundings, friendly staff, and excellent fishing conditions make it a place you'll want to return to. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to spend time in a beautiful and well-maintained spot by the river.
We booked for 2 days,We got pitch 41 nice spot with shadow . Positive points ✅️:Close to nature🏞Clean 🚻🚾Spacious pitchGood and cheap wifi. 2€ p/ day up.to 5 devices.2 electric points to charge your e-car.Improvement points:At the reception the guy picked twice the telephone while we waited long to get attention . Perhaps it's French style to keep the customes waiting pretending to be busy at the PC and pickinp up the telephone 🤷♀️It would be nice to hear " sorry give 2 minutes " . For this reason 3 *Nice lake but it's forbidden to swim.I heard twice military airplane rond 11 30pm. Bring your earplugs If that its one issue for you.
