Great location and the chalets are useful.Things to note for visiting:You need to bring your own toilet roll, cleaning products, towels and hand soap etc. Cleaning is done by the previous guests and is not included. The pool was empty - even though is was early September and 30 degrees +There are sometimes parties with very loud music until the early hours of the morning.
Great as a stop over , it seems to have many permanent residents and run down vans on site .
We spent 11 nights in one of the 17 square meter cabins. The cabin was cozy and comfortable and is entirely made of wood. The steps leading up the porch where starting to rot so we had to be a bit careful using them. The day before leaving we noticed a wasp nest right under our roof. We informed staff and I am sure they will have an expert remove it.The heated swimming pool was lovely, perfect temperature. Next to the pool was an inflatable castle for kids that they really enjoyed. The camping was full of friendly people, the ambiance was very good. Very gezellig, as the Dutch would say.Staff was friendly and speak German, French and English. So communication went well. The laundry machine ate my token, which cost 5€. Reception gave me a new one, but the second try the machine had stopped halfway through the cycle leaving me with dirty soaking wet laundry. That was quit a bust.We were rather unlucky in the restaurant unfortunately. On our first 3 nights they where closed. On the 4th the opened but there was an accident in the kitchen and the chef was taken to the hospital.A couple of nights later there were back in business so we ordered food on the terrace. It took around 2 whole hours for our dinner to arrive, without any apology. In fact the chef was talking back to us as if she was an angry defensive teenager.Still overall we had a wonderful vacation. The surrounding area is absolutely amazing. We took endless walks in the woods on the mountain and visited nearby towns. For groceries we went to the town of Niederbronn, which was a 15 minute drive thru the gorgeous landscape.
Stayed here two nights at the end of all the summer holidays so don't know how this place would be when it's summer. It's an ok place to stay for two nights however not very inspiring. It's mainly a campground for people who stay there the whole season. So they built their own places with wood and plastic covers. The few camping spots are neat. Toilet building is clean. Nice surrounding area!
Ok camping,Large camping pitches, lots of residential camping here.Toilet blocks a little run down no wc paper or paper towels.wasn’t able to pick up Wi-Fi even with code. OK but not brilliant.
