Positives: nice location pretty site staff friendly. Reasonably priced €19 1 night 2 adults including electric in a camper. Private pitches good size.Negatives 6amp electric so couldn't use any of our on board electrics. Water at the amenities was cold in the sinks, only like warm in the showers. No toilet seats or toilet roll.
The location for this camping ground is beautiful and the rolling hills and little towns on the way there are so nice, just like the staff at the camping ground but the facilities could use some improvements; the camping ground isn’t flat, the toilets don’t have paper (BYO), and the showers put more water on the floor than down the drain and the internet is tediously slow and only accessible at the front gate, also, unfortunately there are some roads through the forests that are quite noisy at night when in a tent (probably not noticeable when in a van or cabin). It’s a bit much for a tent space on the expensive side (19.50 Euro at the time of writing for a night).
After an excellent 3 week holiday in France we stopped over here to spend the night before returning home. The owner asked for my passport and made a copy of it without my consent, which I objected to. Only government institutions, our employer, and the bank can have a full copy, I tried to explain. Unfortunately he disagreed and appeared to take it personally as he got agitated with us, ripped the passport copy in small pieces and sent us away. We were not welcome anymore. When I tried to engage in dialogue, he did not want to, just ordered us to leave or he would call the police. He showed us a box full of passport copies to show that he always did it that way. In the 10+ different campsites we went to during our holidays, this was the only one that copied our passport. It is not common practice, and we have the right to protect our identity even from good citizens like this camping owner. I wish him all the best in the future and hope he stops policing his guests.
We loved it. Very warm welcome and friendly waves from the owners, very clean and tidy, quiet and peaceful. Couldn't ask for more! Thanks!
Camping in the middle of beautifull surroundings. Very quiet. Nice and large pitches, very nice owners. The place to relax! See you in june!A and J Torensen.
