We had a lovely weekend here. It's a really nice camping, people are not bunched on top of each other and in a 3minute walk you can go for a swim in the river. The only negative points I have is the toilets they don't have a seat and after a day of hiking or climbing needing to squat to go to the toilet isn't what i look forward to. But it's a hype through all of France to have small toilets with no seat 🤷. If they fix this it will be a 4 to 5 star camping ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐Also there where allot of mosquitos never had so many mosquito bites before
The location of the camping is a good central place for those who go to this area to go bouldering. The pitches are fairly spacious on which you are allowed open fires and a good deal of pitches have electricity. However, for the amount of pitches this camping has, there is only one toilet/shower building. This results in long waiting lines. This building could also use a renovation but is functional as is.
Brilliant location, 20 mins from just about every bouldering area. Lovely chilled out campsite.Downside is limited facilities (e.g. no freezer for ice blocks), and toilets and showers frequently closed at the busiest times (typically 3 toilets open for the whole campsite between 7-10am, and usually only toilet paper in two of them!)
Amazing campsite if you are looking for a cheap place to stay while visiting the Fontainebleau area for climbing, biking or hiking/running.Pitches are big and have easy electricity access. They allow big groups on pitches.Free WiFi is available near the reception area.Showers are hot and free (only 1 shower/toilet building that is dated), everything is cleaned once or twice a day, there is toiletpaper, I've never had a dirty toilet or shower. An amazing bakery is nearby (10 minuten walk max) and they have a food truck on site.River to swim in 5 minute walk away. All in all a great budget friendly place if you are gonna spend your days in the Fontainebleau forest. But don't expect state of the art facilities or other luxery.
Good location, got a very rustic feel about it,toilets and showers a bit dated but very clean.Staff super friendly and helpful and sorted us out with a bigger pitch for our car and caravan.
