Good campsite with level pitches. You can choose how much creature comforts you want. From completely “wild” to fully lodges. You can order bread the night before and the onsite facilities is very clean.
My family has stayed at lots of Huttopia sites across France, and this place had most of the good things you can usually expect. One particular positive for this site is the location - it is perfect if you're planning to visit central Paris, but want that Huttopia vibe. It only took around 15 mins on the train right to the Eiffel Tower. The train station is a nice 10 min walk from the site, and trains are regular. The only drawback from my recent experience is that we stayed in early April when the weather was still cool. We deliberately chose a Cahute as it had a wood burner - which we were looking forward to using to keep warm as the only source of heat. However, the stove only had large logs, with no kindling/smaller sticks to start the fire. When i asked at reception they only had some newspaper which isn't useful as kindling. I really think if Huttopia advertise a wood burner they should provide the right materials to start the fire - with smaller sticks crucial. That said, we enjoyed our stay and would stay again - but would avoid early season. Or take our own sticks.
A great place to stay on the outskirts of Paris. Really excellent customer service from the reception team who all spoke very good English. Toilets and showers were modern and clean. Pitches for motorhomes were quite tightly spaced but that was what we expected being so close to Paris. This site is an excellent base to explore both Paris and Versailles.
Bit of a hilly campsite so not recommended for wheelchairs. Under trees so comfortable in the heatwave. Really clean, modern and plentiful showers and loos. Very quiet.About a 7 minute walk to the train station giving easy access to the centre of Paris (about 20 mins) and the Palace of Versailles(about 5 mins), so a really good base for sightseeing. Would recommend.
Lovely pretty campsite walking distance from Versailles. Stayed whilst running 'La Grand Classic' and was perfe t location. Loved the fact the swimming pool was small and empty for a relaxing adult swim! Would have liked restaurant to be open on Sunday so we had an easier food option to find but this was a small criticism. Very chilled and accessible to train staion/local town/Versailles lovely stay 😊
