The campsite reminds me of a festival meadow. Most of the people arrive here with camper. There are a few toilets and a place to do the dishes. Most people use there camper facilities (toilet/shower).There is wifi at the entrance and you can buy french fries burgers and tacos in the front(during high season only ?).There is a town next to the camping where you can find a Carrefour. It was a nice experience.
Warning! On 12 June 2022 I was refused a pitch as a touring cyclist after a long hot day. Apparently the local Marie has imposed a limit on the number of cycling tourists which had already been met! The site was not even half full. A 7 mile ride back to Isigny which is a much better and friendly site.
The owners were super sweet people, an older couple who said they live the other half of the year in Paris when the campsite is not open. Other than that, bathrooms are clean, showers were pretty hot, you have to pay for a token, one each for five minutes, but the price of the overall campsite is so low that it doesn't really matter. As a tent camper they suggested that I stay underneath the trees, however, that was a little bit loud because a lot of people are walking past there to go to the bathrooms. If I were staying again, I would probably go to a faraway part of the field where it's quiet.
Quiet site. Great owners, helpful and friendly.Excellent rates, electric included in the price washing facilities and showers by use of token. Would certainly use again
Cheap campsite but showers are extra €1.30. Lovely couple that run it. It is like staying on a football pitch though, but handy when visiting the D-Day landing area. Next to the beach and there is a supermarket close by.
