Latest reviews for CAMPING MUNICIPAL CANADIAN SCOTTISH
Fantastic campsite for visiting the D-Day beaches in Normandy. The location is worth 5 stars! There is a nice bar/cafe on site which is very reasonably priced and the service is excellent. The pitches are mostly level and well spaced, although there are no dividing hedges to define each pitch and some campers take advantage of this and take up more space than they should. The site is right on Juno beach and about an hour walk to the British Normandy Memorial. Overall this was a fantastic site.
Great location for beach and D Day visits to local historic places.Nice reception staff and helpful.Shower block ok but beware they close at 10pm,so no midnight swims!!!Very good value and will certainly return, couple of small things, dogs barking continuously during daylight hours, also idiot's on electric scootersdriving around at fast speed during darkness hours, nearly got run over!!!.Some other Campers very inconsiderate during quiet hours.Otherwise 9/10.
Latest visit back in April 24 was rather wetter than previous visits and therefore quieter. But a good site, great location, almost ON the beach and an easy walk to local town. Planning my next visit already.Midway between Cherbourg and Ouistreham it's easily reached. Plus motorcycle friendly. (Never had a problem in France, unlike the UK).
I've visited in the past and booked again for this summer. A well maintained site with clean showers and toilets. There is a small shop on site and the staff are helpful and friendly. It is also perfectly located for exploring Normandy and particularly the D-Day locations
About 10 euro for a solo cyclist. Camp spots are good. WiFi is free but limited to the entrance. Has a snack bar. Toilets/showers plus washing area etc are all perfectly clean.Located close to shops n supermarkets. If it had a washing line to dry clothes it's be perfect.
