CAMPING LE CLOS DU MOULIN

This place had mostly nice recommendations at Park4Night and at Google (****) and was near Courseulles-sur Mer where my wife would participate in a lace exhibition, which was why we chose it . The people at the CP were very nice and the pitch we had were level and on gravel and with free electricity and the price OK. So far so good. But (there is nearly always buts). The place was infected with free roaming and irritating hens and a also free roaming, very loud rooster, which started early in the morning. The sanitary building was placed one Floor up with very bad old and uneven steps, that in Denmark would have been unlawful (it was possible to go another very long way around to avoid the stairs). The sanitary building was old but clean, but the toilets was without paper and no means to dry hands afterwards. No place to empty grey water and a very unpractical place for Cassettes (a plastic pipe with hole in earth level). So in our humble opinion we are only able to give ***.

We had a wonderful stay at the campsite. The welcome was very warm, and the staff showed professionalism and kindness throughout our stay.The pitches are spacious and well maintained, with beautiful vegetation which ensures appreciable privacy. The sanitary facilities are impeccable, always clean and well equipped.

Excellent welcome in one of the gîtes on this campsite.The team is attentive, responsive and available, always in a good mood... and always finds a solution to meet your needs.Family spirit and good natured.Very happy to have spent a wonderful week on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the landing in this cottage!I recommend.

We appreciated this family campsite, attentive and accommodating owners, very clean sanitary facilities, we had the largest pitch, the other narrower ones not demarcated, the sea, cycle paths and nearby shops.
