Unexpected surprise! This campsite is remote, bordering a small, cute village with a gorgeous town square. This campsite is a family-run affair, with an excellent restaurant and bar. Generous pitches, electricity and all-you-can eat wifi is available throughout the facility. What was really neat is that we had booked this campsite for just one night, but we liked it so much that we decided to stay for another day. Definitely worth the drive, a really good one!
Stayed one night pitches quite small. not a problem as there was not many people there. At this time of year, you need to go on the hardstanding pitches. Nice lady on reception, did not speak English. We lived in France for 10 years, so ok. Facilities were ok, bit dated. We walked into the Village, to buy bread and to have look around, very quaint and pretty. Good selection of restaurants, but we were a bit late for lunch. Forgot you really need to be no later than 1.00pm in France.
Lovely setting in forest. Friendly staff. Five minutes walk to pretty village. Little commerce here, bakers and a few bars/restaurants. Nice forest walks .
A nice camping which is comfortably enough to spend a couple of days. The facility's are clean and you can order your fresh bread for the next morning at the reception. Only it's too bad you have to pay via an extern company for your Internet.
Ok for a campsite. Smelled of gas due to the next door chemical plant.
