Latest reviews for CAMPING L’ÎLE ADELINE
We loved this small friendly campsite near a beautiful lake with nearby activities such as aqua jump and Biotropica. We had to stay an extra night as we were having issues with our campervan and the owner was really helpful. This site is a good first stop for us driving from Calais and we will definitely be back!
As said by some other reviewers, this is a perfect camping spot for a passage through.Sanitary wasn't that great without lights in the evening and showers we're outdated. The camping spots weren't clean at all! Ours had 2 garbage bags on it.It is located in a nice and quiet area.
Small, rustic, French-speaking basic campsite with shop and brasserie (in season). Nice tranquil setting alongside lakes and the Seine. Local village 7mins cycle ride away is small with a couple of restaurants. Rouen is 30mins away by carGood range of grass or grass/clay combo with shaded options. Lots of small statics and permanent tourer pitches too. Shop closed in September, reception only manned in the morning & evening but parking available whilst you wait. Barrier only allows entrance/exit between 08:00 and 22:00.Sanitaires basic but we'll kept, showers simple to use and hot any time of the day but only 2 per Sanitaire. Electric hook-up plentiful but not necessarily on-pitch so bring a 20m cable. Water not on-pitch and fill up is via push-to-use taps. No dedicated chemical toilet disposal, grey waste disposal or motor home waste point. But, a lovely place to stay a few nights amongst the rabbits and wildlife.
Getting on to the pitches is quite tight and you only get 20 minutes a day internet and only by reception, large lake across the road, site gates don't open until 8 so no early getaways, good priced pitches.
Nice place. Beautiful surroundings. Rabbits running free inside the camping site.August 2013
