A lovely welcome, super owner who led the way to the best beach on our bikes to help us, such a kind attitude.Facilities are clean, pool is large and covered, plenty of space around each pitch. Good signal for phones and within a good distance on bikes to villages and small towns on good bike paths. Croissants and bread available if ordered the day before.
Very nice place. The campsite is quiet and in the middle of nature. Stayed in a lux tent, it was spacious and well equipped. Owners are very friendly. We arrived late at night and they were very helpful and let us check in late.My kids enjoyed the heated pool. I however did not enjoy the aqustics in the pool area, it was difficult to have a normal conversation because of the noise level. It would have been nice with a few plants in the pool area as well…All in all a great place.
Lovely campsite. Friendly and helpful staff. Clean facilities. My children loved the swimming pool and the goats and chickens. Spacious pitches. A lot of high grass borders and wildflower meadows to help insects. Young fruit trees dotted around the site, would love to return in 5 years time to see how everything has grown.
This is a fantastic campsite. The pool is lovely and the people who run it are lovely. You can order croissants and bread every morning (except Thursday) and you can order pizza once a week and pancakes once a week. There's a bar onsite in the evenings (though it didn't always seem to open when we thought it should be open) and they have ice creams too. The pool is wonderful and the site is very quiet. My only complaints were that there weren't enough toilets and so sometimes toilet roll ran out. The taps and showers were at a fixed temperature which wasn't very pleasant in the over 30s temperature we had (especially brushing your teeth in hot water), and the one water tap for refilling cans was right next to the washing up so there wasn't much room. A few more toilets away from the showers (and so away from the steam), and a family room for showering wound have made it fantastic.
We have stayed in lots of campsites in the UK and France and this one is our new favourite! Our hosts were fantastic with information about the local area, a daily blackboard telling us about local markets and activities as well as a little shop stocked with local delights. The site is natural, peaceful and charming. The pool was warm, clean and great fun for our baby. We spent our time cycling to beaches and local markets- absolute bliss! Thanks so much.
