Reviewed todayUnfortunately not the greatest start to our holiday. On arriving we had to pay a deposit of 200 euros by card, this was taken TWICE by reception and they took 400 euros by card by mistake . No refund was given, we were told to contact our bank. The manager at Le Grand Large would not take responsibility for this . We have issued a complaint to Brittany Ferries as we were down by 400 euros for our holiday because of this . This impacted our holiday by a lot as we could not eat out or go on trips etc. NO apology from the Manager on site who is very rude and dismissive.It’s a shame as site is very tidy. And in a rural area.Mobile homes are compact and not much space. We have to clean the whole mobile unit before leaving.This morning when we woke up we had no hot water and all electricity to cabin had been turned off. I phoned reception and the manager said she was just turning it back on now - bizarre , no explanation, why would they do this ?There are a lot of dogs on site and a few bits of dog mess littered around.The beach is long and sandy and the pools and games room are good but chargeable.Unfortunately due to our experience here we would not book here again.We have yet to finish our holiday here as a few days left, hopefully we do not encounter any other issues .

We camped in a tent. The place is super busy so make a reservation in advance. Super friendly staff. The location is perfect nearby a beautiful sandy beach. Onsite amenities available such as an indoor and outdoor pool, ping pong tables.

Beautiful camp site, direct on the beautiful beach. (Sciotot Plage)Camp site is very clean, good swimming pool, a lot of free space for children to play football, etc.A few minor things:Our camping place/pitch was not completely flat, with trouble getting your caravan correctly placed.Wifi is terrible, and expensive.Hope to be back in the future!

An amazing camp site with great amenities, definitely recommend, lots to do on site, very friendly staff and a very clean site and well looked after.
