CAMPING L'ÉTANG DES HAIZES

Absolutely beautifully kept family run site. Super clean shower and washing facilities that stay open while they clean, at least five times a day! Recycling of a high standard too. Amazing cycling routes, quiet roads, lively market. Plenty to see and do. Thankyou Patrice John Luke and the friendly team. We loved our holiday break. Avril.

This is a nice campsite - initially rated it with 3 stars, but small improvements would have made it 4 easily. Adjusted after management explained some of the findings. The shared facilities are basic and very clean. We didnt like the central toilet paper and 2x during our stay we had no hot water at peak shower times. There was NL speaking animation which seemed very welcomed by the numerous dutch guests. Fishing heaven for kids and adults. Pool was heated to 24°, which for some might feel a bit too cold but was very welcome refreshment on some hotter days. The campsite offers something for everyone - if you like a quiet vacation, this camping has it, but if you enjoy some entertainment there are plenty of activities during the day and in the evenings (bingo, karaoke, shared bbq, ...). Recommended for families, passthrough (we saw lots of campers by bike) or even a longer stay.

Great site. Clean and well managed with friendly staff. Clean good sized pitches and facilities. Pool was lovely and slides great fun. An afternoon fishing in the lake was a good way to relax. Good mix of activities on site for those who want to join in (table tennis, badminton, volleyball, bbq etc) while still being a quiet and relaxing place to camp for those who like taking things a bit more leisurely. Lots to do in surrounding area including visit to Normandy beaches which would definitely recommend.

Best campsite ever! With a 12 & 13 year old they adored the slides and the pool. Super friendly staff with great English spoken. Engaging events always going on. Amazing baguettes delivered daily. The location is also superb to visit the best Normandy has to offer. We will be back!

Well not been back here for the last 3 years but wow were we glad to be back. This site is tranquility in its self. The staff are so very friendly and helpful can't do enough. The showers and toilets spotless. We would have stayed longer but we where on our way back from Spain and the 90 day rule cut us sort. But we will be back.
