Very nice camping, next to a beautiful beach

We booked into this campsite for two nights as we were on our way to the Cherbourg ferry. The sanitation block was lovely and clean with nice hot showers. The site as good sized pitches and is perfect for the beach.

The campsite is in a perfect location right next to the beach and a short walk into the village. The facilities were clean and warm but you did have to wait a long time for the hot water. The facilities (both the toilets and showers) are closed between 23 and 7 which makes it difficult at night. However the Wi-Fi was overpriced. Lovely place would highly recommend.

when I visited this campsite in 2011 it was very well maintained and had good facilities. just over the sand dunes from the long and wide sandy beach.the pitch marking system was a little confusing since the site is a mirror image either side of the centre line marked by the amenities block. the pitch numbers are the same. when checking out the lady remarked that we were in fact in the wrong place but there was no problem.the posters detailing the procedure in the event of a nuclear disaster from the nearby Les Piux power station were a little disconcerting but there has been no such incident in the history of the plant so we took it in good humour and it didn't stop a Dutch fellow I met holidaying there every year for the last 25.one day I will return there when I get the chance!
