CAMPING LE LAC DES CHARMILLES

I had the pleasure of staying at this charming 3-star campground recently and I must say, it exceeded all of my expectations. From the moment I arrived, the warm welcome from the staff set the tone for a fantastic stay.The facilities are impeccable. The pitches are spacious and well-maintained, offering a perfect balance of privacy and community. The bathrooms and showers are spotlessly clean, a testament to the dedication of the cleaning staff.What truly sets this campground apart is the range of amenities and activities available. Whether you're a family with kids or a solo traveler, there's something for everyone here.But what really made my stay unforgettable was the atmosphere. There's a sense of camaraderie among fellow campers, and the staff go above and beyond to ensure everyone feels at home.Overall, I can't recommend this campground highly enough. Whether you're seeking relaxation or adventure, you'll find it here in abundance. I'm already planning my next visit!

Very pleasant small to medium sized campsite which we found through the ACSI app. Close to the nearby town and all of its facilities.We walked to the Lidl on the other side of town which took about 30 minutes, so not too bad. Very convenient for the N84 which is about 3 miles away on a straight road with a Oki car wash which has a very useful raised platform which you can use to wash those hard to get places on your motorhome or caravan, particularly the roof.The campsite we found to be very clean with good sized pitches with electric and water, grassed and well laid out with a good degree of privacy.The bar is open in the evenings and has a restaurant which one night a week serves mussels (moules). The campsite is well maintained and has a gate that leads to a pathway that will get you into the town in about ten minutes, via two lakes and past the old walls of the town.Therr is a covered heated pool plus an outside terrace by the bar. Children have a small astro pitch with goals and basketball pitch plus a bouncy castle and trampoline.The site is quiet with very little noise from the nearby main road.We spent a relaxed couple of nights and enjoyed our stay. For a 3 star site it's a solid 5 stars from us,it had everything that we needed and would expect from a 3 star site.

Just stayed one night in October, friendly lady at reception. Lovely clean facilities with lots of hot water , swimming pool still open and was warm and clean . All perfect thanks

Lovely site who helped us out when we suddenly needed electric...Great pool and a very busy Moules night with lots of locals (always a good sign) Lovely walk around the lake and an easy walk into town.

Lovely quiet site, family run with a friendly feel. Pitches are almost perfectly level. Small shop on site with a bar serving food and drinks. Lovely swimming pool and outdoor play area. Sanitary block is clean with washers and dryers available. 5 minute walk past two quaint lakes into town.
