CAMPING LES GARENNES DE LA MER

This is our first visit to Camping les Garennes de la Mer at Le Bourg-Dun. From the moment that we arrived, we were greeted by the smiles of Michèle and Didier who made us feel so welcome and promoted the happy atmosphere throughout the site. We love everything about this site. It is pretty, calm, in a beautiful little village with a church, yet close to so many major tourist attractions. It is lovely for couples, retired people and families. Everyone is catered for. We came here as a base for travelling back to England as it’s so convenient for the Dieppe ferry and we stayed six days! The beautiful villages along the coast, so close to this campsite, including Veules-les-Roses, listed as one of the prettiest villages in France, is only a few miles down the road. Yet, there are supermarkets 10 minutes away and Dieppe, with all its history is only 10 miles away. Here you have the large hypermarkets like Auchan alongside the incredible fish markets where you can buy fish just delivered from the fishing boats. We cannot wait for the large Saturday market in Dieppe, that is considered one of the best in France. This will be the finale to our holiday in France. Thank you, Michèle and Didier for creating such a lovely happy campsite for us to stay. Can’t wait to come again and would thoroughly recommend your lovely campsite.

Great campsite to stay at. We stayed for one night whilst cycle touring from Dieppe. Good pitch, great showers and loo’s close to a lovely Normandy town.

Stayed in a tent, beautiful campsite, very clean and at a good price. All amenities are nice and clean. The host is great, very happy and very helpful. I would not hesitate recommending this campsite.

Could not fault this superb privately owned site, stayed a week in a perfect two berth chalet...
