CAMPING BARRE-Y-VA

Nice and clean camping (the mobile home for 6 persons was new and clean) it was the newest I think because of other photos I saw on the internet. It is next to Seine reaver which is great. But one needs at least an hour for Normandy attractions and cities. I found the policy of the rooms a little bit exaggerated. They came to see that everything was alright before leaving (they counted event the forks) but maybe it was better like this instead of bad surprises after leaving :) keep in mind that there is a road in front of the camping and it is noisy. We woke up in the morning as cars passed in front. The staff is friendly . There is a swimming pool and playgrounds for the kids too !

My friend and I stayed here whilst cycling in July with no booking, just turned up. We had some reservations due to the previous reviews but they were very welcoming and helpful despite my lack of french - charging power packs, use of bike pump etc. We had 2 small tents on one pitch with plenty of space for more. Great location along the river and the road was quiet and wasn't an issue. Onsite food offering is basic but good for a quick beer and the town is a short cycle away for a bite to eat.

The campsite is in a pleasant location beside the Seine river. Facilities are good and well maintained. Pitches are small so families might find the lack of space limiting. NB: no shorts allowed when using swimming pool, only trunks.

A friendly site with lots of great facilities. The swimming pool is really good with shallow parts for small children, and slides for the bigger ones. The toilet / shower blocks are always very clean. The only slight drawback is the busy road nearby. Overall I would highly recommend this site.
