Latest reviews for FLOWER CAMPINGS LA CHÊNAIE
Peaceful, staff friendly. We opted for a camping pitch with personal kitchenette & shower room /toilet facilities which were clean and a great idea.Takeaway snacks in particular the pizzas were wonderful and a fair price. Restaurant on site too but chose the takeaway option.Lovely surroundings in the site and access to the village was easy on my mobility scooter. The town it’s self very friendly shop owners with boulangerie, épicerie boucherie and pharmacie. Once again accessible on a mobility scooter.
We stayed in a number of Flower campsites and this was our least favourite, it was noisy and felt very busy for the size of the site.
Upon arrival, we received a very friendly welcome from Lydia at the reception. She is a very nice and cheerful woman who helped with everything. The businesslike and unfriendly manager of the campsite could learn something from here! that is not a good representative for the campsite. Location is great, but the noise from the road is annoying, you hear the cars drive by. Unfortunately, poor WiFi at the houses. The homeflower premium chalet was very nice and overall we had a good stay!
Rented a chalet that turned out to be a garden shed. Cramped accommodation and very tired throughout. Adjacent cabins were so close you were overlooked in every room. Noise from the roof situated under multiple beech trees (falling beech nuts onto numerous metal roof parts!) was really loud at night time and woke us up.The grounds around the cabins were very untidy and the pathways and roadways were muddy and rutted. The only good thing to say about this site is that the staff all gave excellent service.
We paid 57 euros to stay on a very mediocre campsite with dirty sanitary facilities (with cold water most of the time) and small pitches. It is kind of a shabby place. We won’t visit again.Receptionist was very kind, campsites proximity to the village is nice, to name a few plus sides.
