CAMPING DES DUNES

Camping was nice and clean. They had a common hut to eat or just relax, which was very pleasant.

We camped on 19 Aug 23 for one night - Pitch was good. Although a fellow camper allowed her dog to cr@p on our pitch!! Appreciate the management can't really prevent this. Just unbelievable - this happened in front of us.Facilities were clean and functional - no complaints.The pitch opposite us (appear to be long term residents) were partying until 2am. Loud music which to be fair, they stopped just after 10. But then they carried on shouting and talking extremely loudly. No respect for other campers. Didn't see anyone (security?) try to shut them up. So very little sleep, followed by an early start and then a very long drive after catching the ferry.....the two star review is based on the fact we got minimal sleep.

Great location on the beach and friendly check in but a bit of a walk into town and unfortunately no bread delivery arrangement at the camp. To be fair it is getting towards the end of season but whole campsite felt like it could do with a bit of a tidy up, grass cut etc. Clean modern showers and toilets.

Me and my wife stayed here towards the end of August. We had a beautifully located spacious camper-spot, near the beach and with a comfortable 10-minute walk towards the city centre and stores. But what will stay with me the most is the efficiency, adequacy and empathy of the camping staff when unforeseen personal circumstances almost took over our holiday. The first-aid was there incredibly fast, and the camping owner personally gave me a ride home again. Thank you!

I'm writing this post with the utmost gratitude towards the camping staff: my grandparents were staying at this camping and one day, my grandpa hit his head quite badly. The camping staff reacted incredibly adequate and took care of him in a way that I can only be incredibly thankful for. Thank you so much for the amazing care and stay of my grandparents!
