What can I say my first time, but my partner has been going for around 10 yrs with his biker mates' great reception. Lovely atmosphere. Good position for getting around to some place of ww2 &1 location, not on the main routes local bakery breakfast. Oh my god . I will be visiting again oh and the owners are the best 👌
We camped here with two young children and booked direct. Its spotlessly clean and surroundings are well maintained, large pitches. Beautiful mature trees around and the sound of birds. Fresh bread and croissants brought to your tent in the morning. There's a swing, slide and seesaw, also goats and chickens to keep young ones well entertained. It doesn't get much better :)
HiWe used this site as a last stopping point before travelling to the Eurotunnel at Calais it's about an hour drive. We were welcomed by the very charismatic Nicolas who guided us to a spacious if rustic pitch. We had water and electricity and close access to the immaculate toilet block. Nicolas took our breakfast croissant order and delivered to our Motorhome in the morning, which was so nice.Generally, the site looked like, and I forgot to ask this of Nicolas that they had not long taken this over and had big plans for the place. If this is so, they are onto a winner, especially with Nicolas at the helmThe closest village was around a 10 walk, but as we have found all throughout our month, I. France "It Was Closed" !!!!!!.As always, my question to myself is."Would I come back?"Definitely. Yes !
Our first time to France and what an experience this has become, we are on day two of 7 and the hospitality is amazing. Nicholas and Julie are wonderful hosts...my French is little yet l can understand what is more or less said. Yet Nicholas speaks very good English and says everything in both languages so you get to learn..lol. he very funny and has a sense of humor 🤣 just like me lol. The grounds are maintained very nice and the shower block very clean. I would recommend a visit Le Bloemstraete for camping or BB they also have a small park for children. A family run business. Oh they also have a small holding for goats, chickens and rabbits. The young ones can also take the goats for a walk! On a lead...as my little one experienced too.The week ended so quickly and time to go was here...sad to look back on an amazing week with brilliant hosts. My little girl has now two penpals (ok email friends lol) we meet some amazing people and it's what makes the holiday. Placed some pictures of our adventures. Most definitely coming back. Booking soon.
Probably the best campsite in France, but don't tell everybody. Nicolas and Julie are the best hosts, and invited us to be French for the night, complete with face paint, whilst France beat Portugal on penalties.Breakfast delivered to your van tops it all.
