Nice campsite with beautiful flat pitches for tents. Staff very obliging. There is a little cafe with good food. Bedding in mobile home comfortable : a little disappointed by the cleanliness of shower in the mobile home. We needed to clean it before we used it! No tv. Swimming pool great!
I'll start with some positives, the surroundings are nice, lovely trees and fields etc. The pool is good and there's a nice little bar to sit in. The problem with this campsite is the facilities. The toilets are horrid, no toilet seats and rarely any soap. They aren't kept clean and it smells of sewage in the toilet/shower area. The showers have decent enough water pressure but they are filthy. It is not nice to put your bare feet on the floor in there and the shelves/hooks for your towel/clothes/smellies are dirty so you worry about leaving them there. I would not stay here again and I would not recommend unless you have a motorhome etc with your own facilities.
A weekend camp with my scout unit. The site was very pretty, green and well maintained. Despite there being another very large group staying at the same time, the toilet facilities were clean and it was a pleasant surprise to have ample hot water. Ozon the manager was welcoming and kindly put us a long way from the music festival so that we weren't disturbed. We will be back!
I hate to leave a bad review but Campsite needs some love. There is a kids club and I must say the women running it was so lovely from what we saw. Only one facility area right at the beginning of the campsite. As you walk round the campsite there’s a strong smell of urine. I can only assume this is because people can’t be bothered to walk all the way to the toilet block. Showers were dirty (daily) Toilets had no soap to wash hands. The cut through path from reception to our pitch was muddy and slippery. We got stuck in our pitch due to having some rain. We went to reception for help and he was most unhelpful! Told us to ask around the campsite for some help whilst he sat behind his desk! Didn’t even offer a helping hand or try to help us get out! Took well over an hour to finally get out. The man didn’t even visit us during this time to see if we were ok! Also motorhome service point was not easily accessible and was only one considering the site is big. Wouldn’t return.
We were here before high season, so things might not have been ready yet. The campground is huge, with a lot of hidden and cool spots, however a bit grown over with plants. Enough electricity spots and quite some water spots. The bathrooms and toilets are old, small and rundown. Next to that, I had the feeling it hasn't been deepcleaned in a long time. The owner was nice, but the reception area gave us the feeling, he wasn't ready for the summer yet. It looked like it had a lot of potential, which maybe will come in the summer. But it definitely needs a cleaner
