TOHAPI LA DUNE BLANCHE

We had a wonderful stay at this basic campsite. Lovely heated pool. Friendly staff. Hot shower not 100% reliable despite requesting a fix. Unfortunately, the experience has been slightly marred by arriving home and finding out we'd been charged €80 for the cleaning of our mobile home. We thoroughly cleaned all rooms before we left, but when we queried the charge , we were sent photos of mess that we most certainly did not leave. I do concede that we did not take the shower drain apart, but we didn't know this was expected. We even brought our own cleaning supplies from home as I am quite particular about cleanliness so we left the mobile home cleaning pack untouched and therefore saving the campsite that expense too!Unfortunately, because of this we won't be returning to Allcamps or a Tohapi campsite again. We are so upset after we worked hard to clean, despite our very early start.Also, the last photo is the damage done to my legs from one of the patio chairs at our mobile home. We chose not to complain about this. Perhaps we should have.

IMPORTANT: Do not eat at the local restaurant. It's frozen food with a 20€ price tag. It tastes okay but is very overpriced.Nice forest and camp site. Not much activity in the neighborhood.Not friendly (french) guests, no free internet or decent coverage. Small pool (heated).

Nice quiet campsite set within a woodland area. You cannot really walk anywhere and the local towns of Etaples provides the best services and shops. The area is good with stuff to do however the campsite lacks facilities that I have enjoyed on other Eurocamp sites. The sand area is good for kids but the park is small and the pool was closed. I envisioned days on the site using the facilities however the bar is intermittent and as I said pool was closed (we did get a refund) but it would have made the stay better. The site is clean and tidy. The accommodation is good and spacious. The outside areas were lovely in the evening and lots of green space. I think a few days is enough here whereas a week I would look to camp with more facilities available. We enjoyed as a family but spent everyday exploring the area.

We are currently on holiday here. The place is definitely better in person the the photos that are shown on eurocamp.There is a small toddler outdoor pool and next to bigger pool, both of which are heated.The caravan we stayed in had lovely decking and a large outdoor table where we have spent most of our time.The caravan was supposed to come with aircon, which I suppose it does. However, it is pointless as there are no remote to control it. The site, nor euro camp have done and thing to sort it apart from saying they can't do anything.. or eurocamp saying to ask reception to sort it again.

We have enjoyed our stay here, the staff are very friendly and helpful and also English speaking. The bar bar/restaurant has varied menu and portions are more than you want, so make sure you have a good appetite 😜
