They can't even be bothered to pick up the phone. Then you arrive and have to wait until they finish talking to their friends. It is massive place and the clearly can't be bothered. Not quiet and not peaceful.

Didn't see much of the place arrived at 8 told to ring number but straight to voicemail. Finally got into park and told to go pool by another customer to get key. To be hit with a language barrier and told to pay a £450 deposit which I didn't have as hadn't been told previously. Finally got to van to a bad smell (lucky I carry unstoppables) (think it was mould and coming from bathroom and a few broken items including the main door, radiator of wall with bunkbeds, toilet not straight, and moved, all the windows opened wide and handles not on properly not good with a 5 and 2 year old. Anyway went to sleep left first thing to yet another language barrier for somewhere that advertised French English and german speaking next time. The pool looked good shame we didn't get to have a dip as it was just somewhere for the night

A nice and clean camping, been here 5 times for canoetrips (summer and winter) and we feel always welcome here. A wonderful area to paddle.Follow our adventures, canoetrips on Instagram " thysjimmy "
