Little to add to what already has been said. Really small pitches and electricity you need to get from far if you're unlucky. So bring one or two extension cables and hope there's one socket still available for plugging in your connector. Sanitary building is really old and outdated, but clean. Campsite is in the middle of the city.On the positive side: nice and friendly staff. Campsite could be an option if you're looking for a place to stay just for a night.
Really good location in the town. Excellent market nearby. Pitches were a good size. A few pitches needed extra long or 2 ehu cables to reach power. Toilet block and facilities are old but clean. No hot water in toilet block. Staff set up a cabin for visitors to have hot showers. But site. Staff very friendly. Good dog walks nearby.
The service is kind. We booked one night. However, there is no warm water for bath. The lake near was dirty.
We like a campsite that is friendly, spacious and without lots of frills. That’s what you get with this site which is in the centre of Peronnne. Yes the facilities are dated but they are cleaned regularly. The welcome we received was second to none with information readily shared about the area (The Somme) around World War One. Memorials for the many nations, are everywhere and provide a respectful reminder of those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
Well run small municipal campsite, convenient to town centre, but quiet. Bureau open all day and the young man in charge speaks good English, and is extremely helpful. Facilities fairly old fashioned but all sit down loos, capacious showers and plenty of hot water. Good size emplacements, bordered by hedges.
