A beautiful quiet campsite which we stayed in for 2 nights. Very generous pitch with a cold water tap and a picnic table. we were camping with a tent and felt very at home. the site is mostly static caravans but the ambiance is very peaceful and serene and we felt connected to nature. Clean facilities and the playground, trampoline and bouncy castle kept the kids very happy without a need for a pool. no food sold on site tho the reception has a few basic items for Sale. You have to arrive before 19.30 for check in. would recommend walking to the local tourist steam train station for a ride into St Valery or Le Crotoy.
We really enjoy this campsite and use it as an overnight spot from Calais. It's very quiet, surrounded by fields - the camping spots are shaded and the whole campsite is filled with plants and flowers. The campsite gets regular food trucks and a baker comes around in the morning. Our kids love the bouncy castles, sandpit and trampolines. There's a small fishing pond at the end of the site, which makes for a nice evening stroll too.
Nice, friendly and quiet place in the middle of nature. A warm welcome, the owner brought us chairs and a table, as we are traveling by bike and don’t bring our own.
Again, we enjoy this perfect quiet place in a green environment with flocks of sheep, a gang of ducks, a grey heron, along the camper places. We love it and come back every time we visit the bay of the Somme. It's also a clean, well preserved camping, with a friendly staff. Ideal for long (camping) and short (camper) vacations. They also have many residents so it feels like a pretty small town along the water,... what it is.
We have tested many campgrounds around the Somme Bay and this is now our favorite. The campground is very lush and clean. There are many regular customers (with mobile homes, maybe the only downside if you want a real camping experience). Children can use large playgrounds and special equipment (trampoline -- minigolf -- bouncy castle). A pizza truck was selling food at night and the reception area also has small groceries. We especially liked the easy access to Le Crotoy (a cycleway begins approximately 500 meters from the campground and leads all the way to Le Crotoy). Horse-riding nearby. Very friendly staff and quiet surroundings.
