CAMPING DE LA MAYE

Very basic campsite..expensive for what you were getting! .. Toilets and showers very basic.. No toilet seats! Showers dirty... Lighting was very poor...Reception not manned all the time...Water was little than a drickle and a push buttons you couldn't get any water only by pushing the button which took forever to fill anything. Luckily we only stayed for 1 night on our way homeWon't be staying here again

Great little independent campsite where we staying in our campervan door a few days. 22 euros a night including electric hookup. Good clean facilities, showers, sinks laundry etc with lots of nice hot water. Supermarket across round from entrance. Lovely little village called Rue a short walk away to bars cafes fresh bread butchers etc and market on a Saturday morning.

Dropped in here in our motorhome last October on the way down to Normandy. We didn't use the facilities, however the staff were friendly and attentive. Rue was a fantastic town for our evening meal and for a tour the next morning before heading off. If we are passing again we will definitely stay here.

This campsite could be a little gem if it was a bit more looked after. Facilities were clean but really tired. Grass and hedges needed cutting. The good points though were it was opposite to a supermarket and on the edge of a really nice town which had a massive market right down the high street. Plenty of places to cycle to. Not to far from Calais.

Great little site in the town of Rue which is an interesting place to visit. Site opposite Auchan and five minutes walk into Rue. Showers and toilets clean and well maintained. Pitches private with hedges in between.
