Latest reviews for CAMPING LE WALRIC & LE VILLAGE DE LA SABLIÈRE
We enjoyed our stay at the campsite.. Facilities were excellent and clean and child-friendly.Our daughter loved the pool.Good location for cycling with a number of cycle-routes in the area. Walkable to St Valery centre in about 25 minutes. We would stay again. The only disappointment is that the bar shut at 6pm, though it is probably open later in July/August.
Too noisy!Location of the campsite is good for walking into St Valery sur Somme & receptionist was friendly & welcoming when we arrived.Sadly, we were put on a pitch between two mobile homes/cabins and both overlooked the pitch & both had TVs blaring. We asked to be moved and were put on another pitch in front of a mobile home which was vacant. I have no idea why camping pitches are in amongst mobile home sites.Worse was the noise from the guy who was speeding around on a ride on lawn mower. He kept coming back even though the pitches had either already been done or didn’t need doing. He seemed as though he was drunk. One of the other campers went across and asked him to stop stating it was too noisy and not nice for campers trying to relax. He then went away but came back again about 2 hours later! He was also back again the next morning so that was enough for us & we left a day early without any refund. We did not find the campsite very peaceful at allToilets & showers were plentiful & very clean.
Lovely campsite I have stayed here many times and have always enjoyed the site and its facilities.
Good campsite with decent facilities. The sanitation areas are large and clean. However there are no toilet seats and the showers aren’t the best. You only get 4 seconds of water and it’s very powerful. You have to keep holding/pressing the button to get the shower to stay warm as they lose heat very quickly. There are good facilities at the campsite including a pool and play areas. There is also a cafe and a shop. The shop was a lifesaver on Sunday when everything else in St. Valery closed at 12:30.It’s a very easy walk into the town centre from the campsite.Would stay again, but hope they’ll improve shows situation before that happens.
We return again and again... A well kept campsite with a good mix of tent pitches, cabins etc. Facilities were clean and the area was well kept. Generally it was peaceful and even when there were noisy groups they settled down after midnight!
