CAMPING LA GRAINETIERE

We are in a campvan, so we can't the star the rooms, Only one Mixed shower block mixed toilet, Would not.Like to be here if it was full, Swimmingpool first class, And all the staff are really helpful.So would recommend.

We wanted to spend 2 nights on the island in our camping car and came here based on the reviews. It was perfect. We stayed 5 days as we were just so settledIt was the few last days of school holidays so Thurs and Friday were busy, but the weekend was lovely and we sometimes even had the pool to ourselves. We are 2 adults with no children, so usually avoid camping with pools but this isn't too big and it's mostly chalets so after the holidays it was very peaceful. We will definitely stay here again. Just to add every single member of staff I met were exceptionally lovely.

Couldn’t recommend this place enough for young families. We had a pitch for our motorhome and the pitch was a good size, each pitch had water and electricity. The wash facilities were impeccable! Really modern and clean. They even had family shower rooms with baby changing, a low toilet, bath/sink etc.The pool area was perfect for our 2.5 and 4.5 year olds. We had a cooler day and they pulled the cover over the pool which was great. The play area was also fab for the kids, and the snack bar was child friendly too.We hired bikes and cycled approx 10 mins into La Flotte, and visited a few lovely beaches. Ile De Ré is a really beautiful place. We’ll definitely be back, and most definitely stay at La Grainetière again!Didn’t stay in their caravan accommodation, but spoke to a few people who did who spoke very highly of them too.

Perfect little family site. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely location within easy cycling distance of everywhere but close to the pretty harbour town La Flotte which is just a short walk away. The facilities on site are really nice and kept very clean with a nice bar/cafe area by the pool. Our 10 year old son made many friends and spent almost all his time between the pool and playing football. Superb.

A really great small-ish campsite with great facilities and friendly staff. We brought our campervan and stayed on a good sized pitch with water and electricity. All pitches seemed well shaded from the sun and all were only a short walk to the toilets or reception. Toilets and showers were modern and clean. Pool was quite small but the kids loved it - the sliding roof meant that even on cooler days it was warm in and around the water. We didn't eat at the bar on site but food looked pretty good and reasonably priced. But best of all is the location, perfectly situated between La Flotte and Saint Martin. Only downside is that noise from the main road can be audible from some pitches, but it didn't really bother us. We've stayed now at three or four other sites on the Ile de Ré and this is by far our favourite!
