CAMPING LE MUS DE LOUP

We stayed here with a large camper at the beginning of June. The campsite is located at the end of a 500 m long cul-de-sac, which contributes to the general tranquility because there is no nuisance from car traffic in the area. At the beginning of the street there are campsites that can be described as busy amusement parks.The welcome was friendly, but a bit "strange", by a man who later was very friendly and obliging. So never rely solely on a first impression, because this large campsite with very spacious pitches on a flat sandy surface offers a very pleasant stay.The sanitary facilities are a bit non-chalant, sometimes a bit outdated, but well maintained and therefore clean. There are a number of water taps throughout the site, electricity is available.For supplies you have to rely on the shops and an almost daily market one kilometer away.You are not on a typical beach coast here, although you can find a sandy beach a few 100 meters away for sunbathing and playing, but at low tide the water is 200 meters far from the beach, not really the open sea ... we are here in the Oleron region, known for its oysters, which you can taste about 5 kilometers from the campsite.

We came as a family to a caravan site.The location itself was pretty decent, half shade, half sun.The location is close to Roce les Bains even on foot.Very basic sanitary facilities lined with webs and spiders.Access to the beach is more like access to a pond where swimming is muddy.The campsite management is unpleasant and borderline rude.

A real campsite, not an outdoor residence with noisy activities that some people need, with slides, swimming pools with multiple and varied activities and so on... A simple campsite with proximity to the ocean and its beaches, nature, fishing, walks and conviviality between campers. A campsite like you hardly find anymore. We will come back with pleasure.

Campsite managed by stupid heads....very unpleasant rude guard completely lit probably due to his water consumption!!!Beach access closed by a padlock!!!???We will never return to their place!!!!

Overall satisfactory campsite.The bathroom is mainly the lights are almost all broken except two toilets which therefore leads to waiting within this campsite, in addition two water spaces for taking showers are supposed to be available except one which, again once the lights broke which meant that there was a very long wait for the showers.The window spaces are not cleaned, leaving room for cobwebs and dirt and this also for the toilets!A rather decent campsite but quite a few points remain to be reviewed!
