TOHAPI LA COTE SAUVAGE

Arrived on I’ll de Re Thursday but could not get in at campsite of our choice. On telephoning, all campsites were full apart from this one. What was wrong with it?Absolutely nothing apart from you were on sand and with 2 dogs it was a pain. We found a nice pitch P012 which was convenient for showers, toilet, water and table tennis😁. Great walk for dogs in morning along beach and through woods.Girls at reception very pleasant and spoke good English. Wi-Fi available free for 30 minutes at Snack Bar and actually worked!Stayed three nights. With our ACSI camping card only cost us €16 per night but if you wanted water on pitch,you could not use card and they wanted €27 per night with our two dogs - no thank you😡.Forgot, great biking. Daily market at Ars-en-Re.

...high quality; eco-friendly without being sparse or serious;-) e.g. free herbs to water and pick almost all over the campsite whether you choose to stay near reception or the wild Atlantic coast pretending to be miles away(!)Everything and everyone that you could need on site is reasonable & affordable. Can't speak highly enough staff specially those in the joyful snack bar! You know who you are and I know who I am even when after a few years since we came here, looking very different;-)It'd would be well worth trying this place out but you will have to book in advance to avoid disappointment there a many many Returners:)You can do loads of activities on site or nearby for free or next to nothing... some with only a very small charge so the kids can run around and play, and you can be 'tranquille'...consistently excellent as well as improving itself endlessy...the place, the people everything... !

Very nice camp site all the staff were very hard working which kept the place clean and tidy. Bar and food very good too no need to look for anything better.
