CAMPING MUNICIPALDU LONGOUR

Have stopped here many years ago. It is beside the Dordogne river and easy walk to town.The facilities are good, large pitches offering shade and sun. When no one in office, (Closed 12-5), you can pitch up, then register at opening times. Also price includes access to swimming pool on sports complex next door. You need to ask for wristband to get access.We love Argentat for the many walks that are in the hills around offering great views, after walking up the winding paths through the trees .There is now a reserve just outside Argentat, which is a level walk along the river then onto the reserve , comprising of two large lakes with walks around them .No fishing or bathing, but a place to watch the birds, insects, fish and to enjoy the peace of this setting .

Very small pitches, not at all suitable for bigger camping cars. Toilet are not very clean.for a 3 star camping I would like site on a toiletseat in stead of the toiletbowl itself.

Great site. Very convenient for shops and restaurants in Argentat. Within walking distance. Helpful English speaking reception.

Nice pool with slides, clean facilities and good showers

A very well maintained campsite in an ideal location. The pitches are quite large and well shaded, the toilets are clean and the welcome is friendly. From the campsite you are right next to the sports complex and the municipal swimming pool and above all you have access to the historic center and town center of Argentas via the banks in 15 minutes.
