CAMPING DE COLLONGES-LA-ROUGE

A good welcome, a pretty site with plenty of shade.The toilet blocks could do with updating a little and the hot water was sporadic, but everything was clean.The pitches are well marked, but not particularly level.Easy walk through the back of the campsite into Collonges-La-Rouge.Fabulous swimming pool.

A typical commercial site close to a major tourist venue. The most we have paid for a site to date in France. Insufficient toilets, showers with varying temperatures which is always annoying and the need to leave the site to dispose of items for recycling. Pitches quite small and some difficult to maneuver motorhomes. Toddlers operating the barrier, one wonders where their parents are on why the reception area that overlooks the barrier hasn't intervened for their safety. Wifi doesn't work.

Certainly, the sanitary/toilet facilities are not why you go on a holiday. But when they are in bad condition at your holiday destination, it can ruin your feeling of comfort.The toilet facilities at this campground in Collogne la Rouge are dirty, smell awfully and are in overall bad condition. Showers/washing basins are dark, light frequently does not work.Experience based on a 2 night stay in late August 2022.I recommend not to choose this campground for your holiday

Brilliant site with exceptional staff. The lady on reception was amazing, she was so friendly and helped us with a package we had to send back to UK. Bread can be ordered for the following day. Short walk into very picturesque village.

We stayed in a mobile home for one night. It was well equipped and the reception had friendly staff. One minor complaint is that we booked via booking.com where the fact wasn't stated that the pool was closed outside of the season.
