CAMPING MUNICIPAL DES CHANAUX

Worth 10 stars! Fabulous site, established trees in open grassland with a small lake at the end. Numerous spots to choose from, plenty of shade (or sun) perfect for us as we were cycle touring and like flat soft ground with dappled shade. It was a Sunday and the owner was resting but came to welcome us anyway, he was exceptionally generous and kind. We swam in the lake (even though it says forbidden) Bliss after cycling in 34 degrees. Everything was spotlessly clean don't be put off by the fact the wash block looks outdated it's perfectly good, toilet paper hot water etc. And all this for 11.5 euros Unbelievable. Calm clean peaceful wonderful can't say enough good things. Thank you

We came for 1 or 2 nights, we spent 9 and would have stayed longer if the stupidity of the Mayor of the town had not intervened!!!A more than brilliant welcome from Isabelle and Nathalie!! 2 dedicated people to make our stay a real pleasure!!!A very quiet campsite where we enjoyed hikes and visits to the surrounding area.Sanitary facilities always clean!The big problem: this damn barrier that locks the campers in the campsite! Sleeping in our vehicle (which is not a camper van) we were dependent on Isabelle's presence to enter and exit because MOSIEUR Le Maire decided that campers could not have a pass (even with a deposit) to open and close this damn barrier!! Even coming to make us sweat on our location during our vacation!!Our review would have been a perfect 5 stars without his stupidity!! And we would have stayed a few more days.Thank you again Isabelle for your kindness!!!

Very well located and very pleasant campsite, a special mention to Isabelle who with her welcome, her kindness and her involvement makes you want to spend several days there.

Very nice municipal campsite to take a break on your road during your vacation!!!!!A peaceful corner in a very beautiful region....
