Excellent find! Rustic camping with large, open pitches and lots of shade set on top of a hill. This is not the Trump Intl hotel but if you are stopping over in the area you have to stay here. Beautiful lake with park area and restaurant just 5m walk down the hill. Nice relaxed pool and bar overlooking the valley if you want to hang around the camping. Couple who own/manage the restaurant and camping area are great. Facilities very modern and clean. We stayed a night last year and a night again this year (to prove it wasn't a fluke) and we loved it. Met several other families with small kids spending weeks there. Happy to recommend this place 👍👍👍

This is our second visit (first was in 2016) and we had a fantastic time. Run by French couple Thierey and Marion, who speak perfect English, they are wonderful hosts and provide spacious camping plots almost all with shadow. Fabulous swimming pool, terrace and bar restaurant on the camp ground. Lac de Bournazal is 350 meters walking from bottom of camp ground, here is there 2 diving planks and monitored swimming in August. The lake is suitable for all age groups and large enough to canoe, paddle board or just float. We will return to this camping in another two years. Highly Recommend
