Latest reviews for CAMPING LE DOUZOU
A very quiet and relaxed campsite. Great for just stepping out of the rat race for 2 weeks to recharge batteries. Ideal location to visit the best that the Dordogne has to offer. Visited for the last 2 years and would thoroughly recommend the Campsite.
A lovely little family run campsite.
We have just spent a week at Douzou where we came for peace and quiet and were not disappointed. The welcome of our hosts, their availability and kindness did not make us regret our choice, a very nice meeting.A heated swimming pool with a good time slot allowed us to enjoy it when we returned from our visits. We recommend this 3*** campsite, where we will definitely come back.
We were looking for a quiet, human-sized campsite, we are delighted. The pitches are large, well maintained and very wooded, which provides shade and a certain privacy. The activities offered to children were fun and the swimming pools were large. If you are looking to disconnect, this is the right place. The staff is available and friendly which doesn't spoil anything!
We had a very good week at Douzou. First of all, Caroline and Samuel, the owners, welcomed us very warmly upon our arrival and were available at any time during our stay. The services offered such as grocery shopping and bread delivery on request are a real plus. The mobile home pitches are shaded and well spaced. The mobile home itself was very good and very clean when we arrived. We also ate well during an evening at the campsite snack bar. In addition, the campsite is ideally located. Between 15 and 20 minutes are enough to reach the Dordogne valley and the super beautiful villages and castles bordering it (La Roque Gageac Castelnaud Beynac Domme...). You are also 1 hour from Rocamadour. Finally, the surrounding countryside allows for lovely walks and hikes and the Ceou river crossing the campsite allows for canoeing, well when there is water 😃.We highly recommend this quiet and friendly campsite if you want to discover this beautiful region that is the Périgord Noir.We thank Caroline and Samuel for their welcome. Good luck and see you next time 😃.Pierre and Aurora
