Latest reviews for CAMPING LE CLOU
We had a great time at Le Clou. A predominantly Dutch campsite but we still felt very welcome as an English family. Very well geared up for small children with nice touches like small play areas dotted around the site. Great restaurant food rather than just burger or pizza. Attractive site and pitches. We would visit again.
Family friendly campsite so if you want to let some steam out with friends don't come here. Dutch owners with fluent French and English. Great location, good food, lots of kids.
Supercamping!
We had high expectations of this campsite. However, it was very disappointing. The swimming pool is far too small for the number of camping guests. You are therefore not allowed to enter with your air mattress. The pool chairs are also far too few, so you almost never have a spot. The sanitary facilities are very dirty and far too few for the number of camping guests. The playgrounds are dated and in need of renovation. The animation is aimed at older children. The staff, on the other hand, is very friendly, but unfortunately we will not repeat it again. The surroundings are beautiful and you can make nice trips from here.
Nice campsite for families with young children up to 10 years old. We thoroughly enjoyed spending more than 2 weeks here. Very nice area with markets, castles and villages nearby. The campsite itself is sloping in many places. The pool is too small for the high season. Order fresh bread the day before. Delicious food in the evening, culminating on Wednesdays with live music. Animation is available but mediocre. All in all highly recommended.
