CAMPING DOMAINE DE CORNEUIL

We came to this campground first 30 years ago as a child and have come back 10 years later all grown up. And now we're here with our own kids. While much has improved over the years, the camping lost nothing of its charm. The spots are spacious and spaced nicely. The way the campground is setup invites the kids to meet and play together and the pizza, burger and table d'haute offers great opportunities to meet the other folks staying here.The pool is small (though much larger than years ago), but serves it's purpose of cooling you down as well as the kids.Do bring strong tent-pins and a hammer, the ground is rocky and dry. Unless you take one of the spacious safari tents.For the kids there is entertainment, giving parents some well earned time on their own.I hope to come here for years to come.

It's a small simpel camping with a small swimming pool.The internet has a bad reach and is only available in the restaurant area. All who wants internet are all stacked up in the entrance to find some connection.What strikes me most is the attitude of the new owners. I found them to be extremely rude and very unpleasant and totally inflexible nature.We have not enjoyed our stay in the mobile home, partly because of the noise level. Somehow every conversation is clearly heard due to the thin walls and hilly part of the camping where the mobile homes are at. There is a strange and constant "thumping" noise that is heard whenever children run up and down the hill as if people are walking on the second floor of a very noisy apartment. The kitchenware was very scanty and we did not have enough glasses or mugs to drink from.The mobile homes are placed in such a way that to maintain some privacy in the home, we needed to have the curtains drawn all the time of our living room and bedrooms. It made the place very dark and unpleasant.We left 2 days earlier than planned and we all felt a great relief leaving.

Amazing cozy, but spacious, camping with a very nice staff, who are checking on you and help you when needed :-) We really enjoyed our time here and would definitely come back!

A beautiful campsite with great facilities and even better staff and owners, who are friendly and very welcoming.Would highly recommend.
