Latest reviews for CAMPING LE ROC DE LAVANDRE
Great atmosphere. Very nice family campsite. We meet people and the owners take care of the campers. It is also very well located for visits to the region. We are delighted.
Discovered by the greatest chance, I regret having left so soon. The managers Sandrine and Grégory are really welcoming, friendly and full of good advice. They don't force themselves, it's full of sincerity. There are non-obligatory activities and the managers do not force you. Possibility of eating on site with a few dishes and you should definitely not deprive yourself of it because the chef cooks very well (paella evening, pizza evening, chef's hamburger with a real butcher's steak...). Dogs accepted.
By camper van, location right opposite the pond, electricity available. There is a tap nearby. The owners are very friendly and if you like the camping atmosphere this is the place to go. You can have lunch and dinner and even have bread and pastries in the morning to order. On the other hand, if you plan to visit the region, you will need a vehicle if you want to leave the cc there.
Coming as a group of 2 for 3 nights, we ended up staying 10 nights!Impossible to leave because of the family and friendly atmosphere. Thanks to Sandrine, Greg (and their children) for the welcome and the entertainment. We loved the duck confit evening accompanied by Greg's famous puree (excellent!), the homemade pizzas, the fries, the collective barbecue, the campsite evenings, the welcome, the friendliness of the owners and that of the campsite regulars too .Well located campsite halfway between Bugue and Rouffignac (for easy shopping), also close to Eyzies and Sarlat, for visiting chasms, caves, amusement parks, canoeing on the Vézère (👍 ), etc.We plan to return next summer. 🙂
Thank you Sandrine and Greg for your welcome 🙏👏First stay in Dordogne for us (what a beautiful department 🦣 🏕️🚣..); but certainly not the last… (and you strongly contribute to it👍)Family campsite 👌, always a smile, good advice and good humor 😀👍 👍Thank you Sandrine, thank you GregCourage to you for this end of the season 💪🤘Friday pizzas are killer😉🤘
