CAMPING LE BOURNIOU

Really good campsite! Facilities are clean and easily accessible with good hot showers freely available. Campsite has plenty of green space, playing field, meadows etc and clearly marked and generous pitches. There is also direct access to a river beach where you can swim in the Dordogne which is lovely. The site also has a small cafe, crazy golf, playground etc and regular activities are organised which you can join in with if you like to. Highly recommended!

The camping is nice located, has good places and the staff is friendly. Everything in Perigord is accessible from the camping, but sometimes you have to drive for a while. The camping has some good snacks and good bread service. Also the sanitary is clean and good, there is enough space to take a shower.The beach next to the river Dordogne is a beach of stones, which is big enough, and the water is very nice.A downside for me was that the camping was not very cozy, most of the other guests were stand-offish. Also the places were very dusty and sandy.It was a good stay however, I enjoyed it a lot. Especially because of the beautiful scenery.

We didn't use the campsite,we came to swim in the river and also canoe along it..fabulous

Municipal campsite but with great facilities and plenty of shade for the pitches. Much cheaper then the Huttopia site we stayed on previously.Two play parks, badminton & volleyball pitches and mini golf kept the kids happy. The beach by the river was constantly busy - clean water teeming with fish.Ignore older reviews about the bad tempered management - the manager was helpful, friendly and speaks excellent English. We hired a kayak from Cap Evasion located next door and had an excellent float downstream.

This is the actual Camping Municipal. Ignore the other one on the map at the center of the village, that one doesn't exist. Nice campground. Right by the water. Lots of space in each camping spot. All camping spots have shade. The campground has a large area in front of the river to rest and play. Lots of picnic tables free to use, especially convenient if you don't have your own table. We paid 38€ for 3 adults for two nights. That includes showers. Showers have hot water at all times.
