CAMPING DU PORT

What a gem of a find, despite the rain and damp pitches, the owners were so helpful in finding us a spot for our 5 tonne van. Superb location next to the river with amazing views. The campsite is one of the best maintained we have visited with beautiful shrubs and the owners are always tending the pitches. Love the bar location, quite quirky but great experience. Lovely walks with the dogs - could not fault it and will definitely return! One to keep a secret!

Nice pitch facing the river, space was big enough with a lovely view. Good location with shops, restaurants and tabac within walking distance. Didn't use the bar, but they had loud entertainment on most nights until quite late. Unfortunately we got infested with ants, which is not the campsite's fault, and being so close to the river its difficult to sit outside due to mosquitos. The toilets and showers could do with updating, they were cleaned once a day, which wasn't enough. You can easily drive to places like Rocamadour and Sarlat, and cycle to Beynac et Cazanac.

Nice location, next to the River. Carrefour 3 min walk away. Restaurant and bread delivery if needed. Most sites are shaded with grass and hedges for privacy. Sanitary is okay, clean at least. Good one night stop for bicycle tourers.

This is a fabulous location and a wonderful calm campsite. We booked for 5 nights and stayed for 2 weeks! That says it all!The sites for camping are spacious, grassy and shaded. The site itself is very well maintained, and the bathrooms clean (with soap and toilet paper!). You can walk into the village, there's a huge supermarket and a restaurant nearby, and there's loads to do in the surrounding area. The owners are really helpful and friendly. We're hoping to go back another time, and highly recommend.

Grumpy proprietor. Site is nice with large plots. Facilities in darkness with no lights for washing up. Ok spots by the river. Bbq as well.
