CAMPING LE REPAIRE

We travelled in family, and we stayed there 14 days (I wish it was a month).Since our arrival until the day we left, people who works there made all to make the place superbe!We had super moments in the pool, the free wifi that works for the whole camping, the archery class for free, the excelent food at night with live bands... they really made our time the best.After a bad management in the past, the new team are renewing everything, so, maybe you should find something that is not perfect yet, but people are available all the time to make the corrections or to make you time there very good.I can say that the differential of this camping is, as it is small than the others we visited, we feel at home and with a familiar ambiance all the time, where everybody knows your name. If you are looking for noisy place partying all the time or overloaded, this is not your place. But if you look for a calm, clean, and all the other remarks I made, don't think, just go.I'm not good in names, but I just want to thanks the owner, patron, the cuisine chef and also Ludo that helped my decision of doing archery classes. Awful. Dirty toilets and showers with broken toilet roll holders so you could not use them! Very scruffy and run down pitches. Reverse polarity electricity! Everything dirty. Toilet emptying out in the main road in same place as grey waste, disgusting! Good footpath from the rear of site into Thiviers, about 1 kilometre! Nice pool but it was too cold to use when we were there. Avoid if possible!

We spend two night on this camping. We appreciated the friendlyness and relaxness of the staff. The sanitary facilities were clean ant plentiful. There were not a lot of additional facilities besides a pool, bar and the basics but we also did not miss those. All in all we would recommend staying here when in or near thiviers.

Last year we had our holiday here. There were may pro's but also many con's.Pro: great swimming pool, heated to a comfortable temperature. Nice camping spots, great shaded pitches. Nice short walk to village with bakery and supermarket. Great show by two entertainers for kids but was also enjoyable for adults. Good showers.Con: extreme loud entertainment (camping is advertised as being quiet...). Terrible drunken french karaoke till 2 am. Although there are supposedly quiet times(22:00-7:00), travellers are packing at 4 am, and even starting their cars and keep engine running for an hour on end. Nothing is done by camping management to prevent this.Rats on the terrain (poor hygiene?)Teenagers in the swimming pool take over the complete pool with violent bal games. Long term staying neighbor also leaves around 5am in the morning (with car). Again, camping rules are stipulating that you should leave your car outside camping grounds should you want to leave before 7 am (this seems reasonable so everyone can have a nice holiday, however majority of people only think about their own happiness and do not consider other people).All in all, would not recommend if you are searching for a quiet camping.

A very likeable campsite. Clean, simple, friendly, good pitches and all the facilities that you need. I'm a cyclist and needed some days of recovery from injury, so I stayed here several days. Thiviers is not a place I would have chosen otherwise, but the campsite is really lovely!
