A great campsite for campers right on the bank of the river Dordogne. Friendly welcome, fabulous swimming pool. Pitches are a good size with hedges can’t fault it. Well done to the owners.

We just did not feel very welcome. Maybe not on purpose, but I have met different approaches to requests. This can be improved. The location is good. The Dordogne is accessible, although not very easily. You have to cross the road and it's relatively steep to get to a place where you can sit. Bit further, next to a canostop is a bit easier. The campsite has a nice pool. The bar can be more tempting if the reception for internet would be better there. For wifi access you had to pay (kind of old-fashioned). The play grounds were nice, but for the tennis court you had to pay and wear tennis shoes (who brings these when camping?). We were in a very sunny pitch and had to seek shade on other peoples pitch. While there was a whole shaded field hardly occupied. Yet we were told that this was the only possibility. The food in the evening in their restaurant was nice. In the more modern building was toilet paper available per toilet unit, in the old one you had to grab some before entering. A wash basin was not close to the toilet, some washed there hands where others wash the dishes. Soap was most of the time not available despite the very few soap dispensers available. Urinoirs were very prominently visible in the new buildings. Not really fun for women and children. Cleanliness was ok, not splendid, but ok.

Great medium/small camping. The camping spots are pretty decent in size (4 person large tent and car fits). The staff is very kind and helpful. Swimming pool looks good, we didn't go there we went to the river down the road (100m). Lavatory buildings are pretty good, only no toilet seats on the toilets but besides that everything is there. Good for kids as well lots of activities and playing ground for them.Overall good and decent camping 👍

We couldnt make it on time between the regular check in hours but that was no problem. Friendly personel alltogether. The sanitary facilities were excellent and seemed to be newly built. Theres a basic shop for food and breakfast. In the evening you can get yourself a hot meal. The pool is unsupervised which is rather relaxing and there is also a small beach within walking distance. There are several things to do/visit within 15mins of driving. The camping site next to La Bouysse could be heard somtimes in the evening with live music and the like but this wasnt disturbing us.We (young couple) went with a car and tent.

Great site with outstanding facilities and a nice pool. Right on the river Dordogne the site offers various types of canoeing at a reasonable price. Sadly restaurant bar and shop were closed in September and the site was obviously running down for the year. Large pitches with easy access. I look forward to returning in the high season to enjoy all the facilities. One word of warning DO NOT use your Sat Nav follow the instructions in the ACSI Book or similar there are so many roads in the area where caravans are banned. It's a case of getting the maps out.
