A large but lovely campsite. The showers are amazing .... really good water pressure and you can easily control the temperature. A lovely hot shower if you want it - heaven! The pitches are a good size and level and access is easy with a caravan.Access to the beach is via a path from the campsite and is a 5 minute walk. When the tide is out there's no water, but when the tide comes in it is absolutely beautiful.Lots of shade from the palm trees, but be aware that during March and April the pine trees drop a ton of pollen and everything will be covered in light green dust within minutes. You will need an adaptor plug for the electricity hook up as the more old fashioned two pin plugs are used.New owners took over on 1st April and they're currently not accepting the ACSI card. The price for one night in April for two people plus electricity was 21€.
Nice (and huge) campsite but rather expensive. You can walk to the beach, but the bay has hip deep water at high tide and was dry on low tide. However, there is a swimming pool and the beach is a half hour drive (but count another half hour for parking if you're there on a nice beach day). You can use your barbecue near the toilet facilities, but bring your own charcoal as the ones lying over there have probably been wet.Camp sites were huge, we only used half of our spot. We would have preferred to be on a tent field for less money. The day we arrived there was live music at the restaurant, we thoroughly enjoyed this rock band consisting of 16-18 year olds.
Great to be in as base camp since there are a lot of activities you can do around the camping.
Excellent camping
Super
