Such an awesome camping ground. A very relaxed peaceful atmosphere. Everything is clean and well thought out. The owners are friendly and helpful. We stayed in the bungalows on site and had such a good time.
In 2018 we spent three lovely weeks on this very cosy campsite. Very nice atmosphere, calm. The owner and his family do everything to make you feel comfortable. Very good mixture of mobile homes, "glamping" lodges, tipis, caravans and tents. Showers a bit old, but clean. Nice swimmingpool if you are too lazy to go to the lake (3km) or to the sea (13km). We enjoyed it a lot. You can rent a fridge or table and chairs which we found very comfortable. In 2109, we wanted to discover another region and went to a campsite near Maubuisson. What a mistake!!! We regretted a lot and were very happy that Karine and Serge gave us „asylum“ without reservation. We stayed for three weeks and immediately felt „at home“: cosy, quiet and easy going atmosphere, clean sanitaries, foodtrucks with good food several times a week, a few minutes by bike to the village, best baguette ever!!! Karine even organized a place for our friends....really a „bon coin“!
We have just returned from a fabulous 4 week stay in Le Bon Coin! We wanted to stay for longer but quarantine rules meant we had to return to the UK!We have been holidaying in Hourtin for 25years as a couple and family and have fallen in love with the area. We decided reluctantly last year to move from our usual campsite as we wanted a campsite that was quieter, smaller and a little more ‘French’ than some of the bigger sites. The children were a little apprehensive as they have quite literally ‘grown up’ on another site but as soon as we arrived at Le Bon Coin, the owners and their staff (who work incredibly hard everyday) welcomed us as though we were long lost friends! Nothing was too much trouble and everyday they had a big smile and a wave! The campsite is beautifully kept and immaculate; from the planting to the play areas to the shower block! It has the perfect balance of quiet and an owner presence checking that all is well alongside a welcoming bar, pool and other activities to keep a family of 5 including a 16yr old 12 yr old to a 10yr old happy and content! We cannot recommend Le Bon Coin enough! We feel as though we have found the best kept secret in Hourtin! Can’t wait until summer 2021.A huge thank you from us all for such a relaxing and wonderful summer!
Just coming to the end of our first week here, Lovley camp site nice and quiet very clean and tidy, owners are very friendly and very helpful, would definitely come again, but for longer next time 👍
Very well maintained and clean site. Good location, facilities and pitches, very quiet at night but we found the owners somewhat sullen and awkward.
